Casually Classy

Today's outfit sort of gives me a yin an yang or panda feel, hence the black and white. My look is fairly casual with a plain black flowy peplum tee and white slightly distressed frayed shorts. You're probably thinking why in the world would I wear these two together!? Well, I did and I think it worked quite okay. The accessories are really what makes the outfit/ pulls it together as a classier outfit, no to mention the heels. A quick fix to make any outfit look fiercer has to be adding a pair of nice heels! For my heels I chose a pair of nude ones to even out the crazy colors happening up top and since it compliments the whole outfit nicely, not too much, but not too little!

Top: Cotton On ( I got this for $2.00!!)
Wish I bought more of these in every color considering the price, but at the time (last summer) I didn't know it would become such an essential in my wardrobe :(
Shorts: Wet Seal
Shoes: Payless
Clutch: Macy's (Copped this for $5.00 originally $40 and up)
Necklace: H&M
Bracelet: F21

(Not to mention these heels give the illusion that I have nice long legs! However, in reality I'm really short and have fairly stubby legs D: )
** This illusion happens because the color of the heels are close to my skin color so there's no apparent harsh cutoff where the heels start, exposing the real length of my legs. Instead, they extend my legs and make the feet and leg area appear never ending!(:

What am I looking at? I really don't know, do I look legit, lol jk.
